Amanda Fonti Photography

Welcome my name is Amanda

I’m a pet and family photographer based in Melton, Victoria, and I’m all about capturing the real connection between the people and pets you love most. My style is natural, warm, and relaxed, blending gentle posing with candid moments so your photos feel comfortable, genuine, and true to who you are.

Sessions are calm and easy‑going, whether it’s kids, dogs, or the whole family together.
My goal is to create images that feel like memories.

Where My Photography Journey Began

My style didn’t come from one place — it grew from a mix of experiences that taught me how to slow down, observe, and connect. Below are the three areas of photography that influenced the way I work now.

Wildlife and Bird Photography

I first found my love for photography through wildlife — especially birds. Spending hours watching their behaviour taught me patience, timing, and how to work quietly in natural environments. That foundation naturally led me into pet photography, where I could bring the same calm approach to capturing the personality and emotion of the animals we share our lives with.

Macro and close up

Macro photography became another way for me to slow down and really see the world. Focusing on tiny details — textures, insects, patterns, and the small moments we usually miss — taught me to appreciate light, colour, and stillness in a deeper way. That attention to detail now shapes how I photograph pets too, helping me notice the little expressions and features that make each dog unique.

People

Photographing people has become a natural extension of everything I’ve learned through wildlife, birds, and macro work. I’m drawn to genuine expression — the quiet glances, the natural interactions, the moments that feel real rather than staged. My approach is calm and simple, guiding people into relaxed poses while letting their personality come through. Whether it’s individuals, families, or people with their pets, I focus on creating images that feel honest, warm, and true to who they are.
